Description: Horizon ocean view village is located above the main road of Santa Teresa, five minutes walk from the white sands beaches of Playa Carmen, with it's special surfing points. Our ocean view intimate suites, surrounded by magical tropical gardens, are fully equipped units. Three pools are located at different points of the slope. A vegetarian tea house is at your service, a temple of tastes, sounds and pure ocean view. The yoga deck is located at the highest point of the hotel, there we can look inward, if we only want, beyond all that, over the sea of thoughts, into the clarity of horizon. Our spa offers various treatments of massages and reflexology by professional and experienced therapists.

I Plan My Day Around Morning Yoga at Horizon

Whenever I am in Santa Teresa (which is frequent), I plan my day around morning yoga at Horizon. I've been doing yoga over 13 years and--with experience--can honestly say between the setting and the instruction, Horizon offers the best yoga experience I have ever had...Instructors, Yoav and Katie trade off the 9am classes with complementing styles that bring me to Horizon 6 mornings a week. Where Yoav's class is mesmerizing as he guides you through each stretch and breath with a chanting voice that reflects his complete commitment and passion to yoga. Katie, on the other hand, is beautiful and seemingly slight until you realize she's just led you to a stretch you never thought you were capable. She's smiling, encouraging so you hardly notice what an intense yoga experience her class delivers....the rooftop studio has 1 wall and opens on the remaining 3 sides to the most spectacular panoramic view of the ocean and the hillside jungle that meets it. Several fans keep the ocean air circulating through the studio in a refreshing manner than cannot be matched by any ordinary, 4-walled yoga studio...but perhaps my favorite part about morning yoga at Horizon is the scrumptuous breakfast served in their teahouse kitchen/restuarant located right beneath the yoga studio. Breakfast is thoughtfully prepared by Yoav and his lovely wife, Gali and served on a wood deck that captures the same ocean view as the yoga studio above. Fresh fruit smoothies, herb tea, eggs, fresh bagels, tropical fruit salad...all the foods that would appeal to you most after a morning of yoga. The perfection of Horizon is the whole package all of which is served with love.

I can not count the number of my visits to this most amazing place The setting is out of this world the views are breath taking and most of all the people Yoav Gali & Kaity are gifted teachers and keep the place as professional as it can get The sunset classes are must watching the sun kissing the Horizon makes you feel full of peace love and connected to the creation and the creator Love it alot you must check it out Enjoy

horizon is heaven on earth!! its the perfect place for a luxury yoga vacation....if u want to extra love yourself u must visit horizon...its truely a dreamy piece of heaven;) with love xxxx
